One last thing:

in my attempt to walk the gluten-free path
I did find a local Brooklyn pizzeria that has decent gluten-free pizza. The name of the restaurant is Bay Ridge Pizzeria.  https://www.grubhub.com/restaurant/272804
Sometimes their gluten-pizza is even DELICIOUS! On occasion it's just decent, but sometimes it is really good, depending the on baker I guess lol

What to eat

Dinner ideas that contain no wheat:

tofu with broccoli (add rice if you're wanting carbs)

vegan hardshell tacos (fat free refried beans, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, cucumber, and salsa)
baked potatoes (serve with whatever protein is available - I like to serve with chili or beans)

Despite eating Chinese food for dinner, it looks like I already lost some weight by eliminating wheat. Starting weight 0. Current weight is -2.

I'm planning for this blog to go better than my last one (my attempt to eliminate corn from my diet for a year… that lasted a month, tops)

Here's to wellness!

It's time for me to cut back on pasta guys!

If I'm honest with you for the past four days, I have had pasta for both breakfast and dinner every day. Yes, I have limited income right now, but I have decided I have been clearly overdosing on macaroni and cheese, etc and so I am going to see if I can go 30 days without pasta, without wheat in general. I don't want to go crazy with this, but I will avoid pasta, bread, and other foods that obviously contain wheat.
This is NOT a gluten thing. This is a weight loss thing. This is a I-need-to-eat-fewer-processed-foods blog.
I will document my progress over the next thirty days on a regular, if not daily, basis.

I thought of including my abs journal (photos of my abs as I lose weight) but I don't want to force y'all to see all that so I'll just let you know if I lose any weight.

Today is day 1. Weight starting at 0 so as not to let the world know my actual weight. I will give you a clue: I'm supposed to lose 100 (one hundred) pounds… so yeah, pretty overwhelming.

To recap:
FOODS/ETC. I'M NOT EATING FOR THIRTY DAYS
1. pasta
2. bread
3. anything obviously containing wheat
4. beer
5. crackers/snack foods containing wheat like the yummy Wheat Thins #sadface
6. donuts (even the free ones at work)
